One of the Advantages of PDF Documents over many other forumats is that they can be secured in various ways.
You can easily use the full version of Acrobat ((File, .Export..Postscript..Postscript.to create a ".ps" file.
and then convert it back to pd with Acrobat distiller.
This gives you a true copy of the original without signatures and restrictions on editing or other security restrictions. .
You can alsoy download FREE tools or even use online utlities like
PDFUnlock to release some security if you have a document that you need to
edit, highlight, copy from etc. but be careful about downloading some free tools because they can contain malware and viruses. (e.g. a PDF converter tool the PDF unclock site was flagged and trapped as a virus by AVG on my system on a download attempt.
